EMS FORCE RT-38 Retainer 250ml

EMS FORCE RT-38 Retainer is a very high-strength anaerobic retaining compound designed for securing cylindrical mechanical connections. It provides reliable fixation for shafts, bearings, gears, pulleys, impellers, and other cylindrical metal fittings.

Application Instructions

1. Clean the surfaces
Clean the mating surfaces thoroughly. Remove cutting oil, grease, dirt and other contaminants.

2. Apply the retainer
Apply an even layer of RT-38 to the required surfaces.

3. Remove excess compound
Use absorbent tissue to wipe away excess jointing compound.

4. Assemble the parts
Fit the components together and hold them for approximately 24 hours at 22–24°C to achieve full curing.

5. Disassemble when required
Use suitable hand tools to remove the mating parts.

6. For difficult disassembly
If the joint remains difficult to separate at room temperature, apply local heat up to approximately 250°C. Separate the parts while hot. Then remove cured adhesive mechanically and clean the remaining residue with a suitable solvent such as acetone.
